would it be okay if i dye my hair red?

Now i used to dye my hair before, like black for example, but last year i think like july i had a haircut and so it took me about 9 months to let my hair regrow again, and I am thinking about dyeing it semi permanent red. now the problem, what if people think im gay. also have any of you guys ever dyed your hair red and how was it?
also the color that im planing to have is sorta medium darkest red like in this picture, not too saturated.

well i have to, cause its part of this circle that we have to share, people have right to express themselves and others have the right to criticize others for what they do. my original hair is brown and when i dyed it black people noticed it the first day, and kind of though it was a bit unusual for someone like me to do that you myself, though teachers liked it.

im not really scared much of being judged anymore but having to be in a middle of attention for it, which i dont really want. too bad people cant just keep it too themselves.

Nah, I getcha. I like to walk the line of wearing what I want, but it also looking good. Good balance, but always put yourself and wants first. ROCK THAT FEDORA.
