FLASHBACK: Ryun and Adariel stand behind a prisoner whose hands are tied behind her back and is knelling in front of Ryun with a bag over her head as a whole crowd of people cheer and praise Adariel.

the prisoner tries to plead with the shinigami king. " Please Adariel, not like this... not in front of him..."

Adariel, un-amused at her despite pleas kicks her to the ground before addressing the crowd. "Today, i gather you fellow shinigami not just to watch the execution of the traitorous Queen Maria, but to inaugurate my son into the Shinigami order!"

the crowd roars as Ryun stands tall and remains silent.

"In order for my son to join us at in the Shinigami order he must execute this prisoner, to show that he is willing to kill for his king!" Adariel turns to Ryun "Can you do that my son?"

Ryun nods the draws his blade. "Yes, i can my king..."

Two of the shinigami guards pick up Maria and stand her straight. The shinigami king the slowly walks up to maria from behind and whispers in her ear. "in front of him? who do you think will be the one to kill you?" he laughs moving back to Ryun's side. "Go my son, Kill her and take your place at my side. "

Ryun closes his eyes and with one slash of his blade maria fell to the ground, her head rolls infront of Ryun, his eyes still closed tight, afraid to see his mother's headless body.

Ash blows the kunai off course with his wings as the tags explode leaving a cloud of smoke

Yashiro lands on the ground, still twirling his umbrella. " i thought you were going to hit me?"

The crowd's cheers grow as Ryun kneels in front of Adariel. The two guards grab maria's body and remove it from the area as Adariel continued Ryun's inauguration. "Today, My son becomes prince of the shinigami order!" Adariel unsheaths his sword and taps both of Ryun's shoulders, as if he were being knighted. "It was today 3 years ago Maria betrayed us and we lost our greatest asset, and it is today that we gain our weapon against the heathen rebels!" Adariel raises his blade and the crowd cheers

Ryun grips his fist in silence as the crowd dies Ryun stood up and looked at Adariel. "why? why did she have to die? what did she do that was so bad?"

Adariel laughed. "what did she do?" he shakes his head when he could tell Ryun was about to freak out. "She Started a rebellion to stop the order..."

"We have other traitors in our prisons, what makes her so different that she deserves to die!?" Ryun grabs at Adariel's cloak.

"She had a choice, either you died, or she died...she choose her life over yours.." he grins devilishly as Ryun's grip on his cloak grew more tight.

Ryun throws Adariel to the ground then draws his blade. "I will kill you..." he points his blade at Adariel's throat.

The guards surround Ryun. "Put down your blade son, and you will leave here with your life..." the guards point their blades at him.

"you will be lucky if you leave here with your lives...." Ryun spins around releasing a light energy from his blade, as he spun, the light energy cut all of the guards and Ryun took off running into the crowd.

Tasuke appears in front of Harribel, and touches her forehead with his finger, his eyes are closed and a strong power is still pulsing around him, he doesn't become water, he focuses on his finger pressed against her forehead and then speaks

The sentence echoes through her mind, repeating itself and she cannot forget them not matter how much she tries to ignore the words
