Same here, but I know why Shisui was beaten. It was because he had no intention of killing Danzo. He only wanted to restrain him. He did not know Danzo could break out of his "restraints."


If Shisui had the intention to kill, Danzo would have beaten.

Anime hypes izanagi above manga level though. In the manga, it just revives you until the time's up. In the anime, it teleports you and automatically kills your opponent. The real izanami isn't nearly as useful.

I'm with Macho on this one. It was plot. Regardless, if he fodderized in the anime. Danzo still took his eye in the manga.(Although it's not shown) If this guy had Susano'o, there is no way he should have lost to Danzo. Unless he set or something. They redo that. Side Story: Life of Shisui Uchiha!

It really is an auto kill move, thats why its kinjutsu and seals away that eyes sight forever. I can say 100% that if not for Susanoo, Sasuke would have suffered the same fate Shisui did, and 90% of all other characters in the series as well. In the Mnaga it did teleport Danzo to a location a few feet from him, just like in the anime so.... do we even read the same stuff?

He wasn't beat, he was sucker punched, he was called out alone by someone he thought he could trust, plus was blind sided by the fact that danzo got out of Kotoamatsukami, BY USING IZANAGI an uchiha technique, also Shisui is anbu level, Danzo trains anbu. If he was slapped silly by chojis dad THEN id have a problem, but shisuis still a boss, Its not his fault he was betrayed.

It doesn't insta-kill your enemies. It just takes any disadvantageous situations and delete them, not teleport to your enemy as a counter-attack.

This susanoo isn't canon, it's exclusive to the game.

It might as well be considered as part of Shisui's arsenal. Neither the manga, nor the anime goes into his arsenal other than "he had KA, was the best genjutsu user, was good at body flicker, has fireball jutsu." The game's making the closest thing to an arsenal for him.
