[Theory] Limbo and why it didn't work

The definition of limbo is "an uncertain period of awaiting a decision or resolution; an intermediate state or condition." So its a period of awaiting or waiting. Almost like pausing. Though we didn't realize it, we have already seen this technique. When Sasuke went to attack Madara, he became frozen in midair, completely immobilized. He was stuck, his body was waiting. Sasuke was in limbo.

So why did it not work on Naruto. If you look at the picture of Naruto "dodging" it, it appears as though he was pushed. This was kishi leading into Sasuke having Rinnegan and was him using All Mighty push on Naruto. It seems impractical since sasuke is so far away. However when Hashi and Madara were kids sitting on the mountain Kishi alludes to the sharingan allowing the user to see from distances incredibly far away.

No. *********** says "My Limbo... was dodged?!" And as for it being nature chakra simply pushing him out of the way I think that's too lame for Kishi. Either way Naruto is definitely surprised, so some outside force, be it a natural defense or Sasuke's almighty push, acted on Naruto. I believe its the latter

It felt like that Limbo just passed through him without affecting him. Since he felt the heavy wind, he assumed that he dodged while expecting a massive attack.

Ignoring your sarcasm. Sasuke somehow knew madara was with naruto. He also has a more complete form of rinnegan so yeah, I think sasuke was able to use that technique.

Ok he can use the tec but how was he able to time it so perfectly? He had nothing to do with naruto dodgeing it he was headed to the second hokage inorder to get close to where naruto was meaning he was very far away.

It's a focussed Shinra Tensei. The user focuses his eye on a certain point and the attack emerges out from that point and throws everything away from it.

This can be seen clearly when Madara used it against the Bijuus.

You can say that Madara focused the attack a little above three tails due to which others were thrown away but the three tails was grounded.
