Any other time I could honestly be upset about this, especially with something like the Rinne Tensei, but given the level Naruto is on now, it's really not that bad of writing and doesn't ruin the story as much as people would like to believe. If it does, then that's unfortunate for you.

And while yes, he does have people to answer to, it's still his series. And even the people he has to answer to are apparently okay with the things he's doing. And if not and their the ones guiding the story, then they're the ones people should be mad at.

You'll be surprised on how stories were altered over the years because the writer had a plot they thought was a good idea but their editors convinced them otherwise.Kishi himself had to change several things about Naruto because his editors thought it would'nt turn out well or make sense.

Read my post below pls.How is it selfish to expect someone to die from a technique that was confirmed to kill the user ever since the start of the series?

I'm done. I'm gonna just let you and everyone else wallow in their misery over something that's not really that much of a big deal at all. Especially since it's something as simple as manga about love, friendship, and overcoming hardships and what not.

Just because he wanted to use a suicidal technique doesn't necessarily mean that he wanted to die without giving a crap about having the possibility of being saved somehow. It wasn't implied or shown as far as I know so maybe Gai might be grateful that Naruto saved him because he would still be there to teach Lee and Ten Ten and more. Yeah of course. Naruto gets a god power up but doesn't use it to save Gai makes total sense lmao. You people are so angry.

Angry?Not in the least,Gai once taught Lee that the gates were only to be used when defending your comrades or ninja way.

Using all eight basically means you're resigned to dying.

I know. Guy wanted to do anything he could to help the alliance and if not dying was an option and still being able to use the gate he would have. He didn't know he would have a choice in the end. All he knew was Naruto was dying and they had no hope if Obito couldn't save him so he gave his life to buy time. People seem to think he wanted death but Guy is not the type of person to be morbid like that. He did an honourable thing and was saved by Naruto instead of being blown to pieces by Madara.

Lol take it easy my friend! The 8th gate was as amazing as it was hyped to be, the only difference was Naruto stopped Guy from dying. It didn't affect his powers. Death was certain but that was before the sage's son was reincarnated into Guy's ally and defied natures natural course.

I'm not ignoring anything,I know Naruto got a goddamn power up from the Sage.
