i wonna be a manga artist!
but my art is pretty shit
i try my best
everyday
but as far as making it a stick figure
it wont evolve in anyway
thats just how depressed i am

you know who i want to be? i wonna be this gentleman right here!

like for real, super duper type real i wonna be him, really bad! i want my manga to be on a cover of a shonen jump magazines. i wonna have my own forums website dedicated to it, i want to have bunch of fans like you guys are fanning around here, posting like 30 threads a day and discussing naruto every day.

but more important, is my manga isnt just meant for attention, it is meant to show a message, its basically my culminating project before my foot meets my grave, its just for what i live every goddamn day!

and as far as i been trying draw, and draw and drawwwwwww , it just BAM, kick me on my knees again and humiliates my work and time i out in to it, and time is something i don't take for granted.
time is a second less of my life, and after drawing for years and attempting to accomplish something, right after, i fail i noticed something, i wasted more of my granted life for nothing, is it worth to continue or not? well knowing how it became quite a point when drawing hold the same part of my value as brushing the teeth every night, then i just cant stop trying, i cant quit it.
i think id rather finish what i started, even if i fail in the end. but funny though after wasting all these brain cells, after wasting all these hours, i kinda already got an idea of what i wanted to draw about, or what will my story be.

NO. its not going to be about some slice of life or whatever you might think it might be, i honestly don't like reality, i don't want to make a story about it, but since my main struggle was about time and how i see it as my dead line before its over for me, and my existence will perished in this world, i would like to write a story, about this one young man, for who, time becomes nothing more than lack of understanding idleness, for him the perception of happiness is that the clock will no longer hold a meaning for his death. and when you compare him to the same normal person he was, they might the same, sound the same, but their personality will definitely come as a striking point when you see there true difference between each other.

just some random fails and old manga i tried to draw!

I, too, want to be a manga artist.
I would love to create a manga and get it turned into an anime or whatever.
Especially one as awesome as Naruto or One Piece, Bleach, Attack on Titan, etc.
With practice, you'll improve.
If you don't see yourself improving, still, never give up on your dream x)
Always have a backup plan if stuff doesn't go your way.
Just do the shit you enjoy, and if it's drawing manga, then do it.

Don't let the people tell you on here that you can't do it :c
Even if you can't do something great, you don't see that stopping others, do you?
Did it stahp Naruto when he couldn't even make a shadow clone? F^CK NO. And look at dis bitccch, he became a ****ing hero.
So don't let it stop you if you can't draw something like Kishimoto or Oda..

If you plan to have a career in arts, then you should read a lot of books and have a lot of references of objects and nature. Drawing is not really an important thing when you are a beginner at arts, it's imagination. You will learn more about how to draw in art schools. This also applies to storytelling. Imagination is the key here.

This guy says it all. Mark Crilley offers excellent help when it comes to drawing manga style characters and just manga in general. I understand you want to be a great manga artist like Kishi, but you have to understand that it won't happen over night. Just be patient and take a break, before you burnout.

Manga artists get like 2 hours of sleep and barely have any time to themselves.

well i cant afford to go to art school, although i have a reference what they teach there, if i can do this routine at home, i can probably master manga completely in 2 months, than waste years on it
