At first I was confused by this. I thought "wait, so being a juubi jin gives you less than 100X?!" However, the viz says something completely different.

It did not say it gives you 100X your original power. It gives you 10s of times more power than the 5 kage. It can be anywhere from 100X to a 1,000X.


Also, this gives us a tremendous perspective on just how powerful the 8th gate is. The Gokage have particle style(which is an island buster), lava style and vapor style(both of which can melt susanoo), lightning armor speed, super strength and regen, and manipulation of sand.


To be 10s of times stronger than a combination of these powers is insane!

no. Curse mark alone does that. It was talking about 10s of times stronger than the gokage, not the one being enhanced.

The problem with 100x is that makes Base Guy 1% the speed of light which is insane. Nobody would believe that. However, if 8th gate makes you tens of times stronger than the 5 kage then it makes more sense.

Yeah it does. I even calculated how fast Base Guy would be with the faulty multipliers. :dead: To put things into perspective, it would have been 1.07 X 10[SUP]7[/SUP] km/hr. That's...... way above 500 times the speed of sound. In any case, this is still a great example to how fast Naruto characters really are.
