Personally, I think Sasuke is fifth/sixth in kenjutsu behind Killer Bee, Mifune, Kimimaro, Mangetsu, and possibly Chojuro since his nutsack dropped. Then there's a few wildcards like Omoi, Darui, Zabuza, and Suigetsu who are arguably better than him. Itachi as well.
What type of attack was he even attempting when Sai 'blocked' him? He wasn't even moving with any sort of speed.

Obito and Kenjutsu? Tobirama and Madara with Kenjutsu? Seriously dude? Sasuke is better than Kakashi and Itachi in Kenjutsu, perhaps on par with Orochimaru, as he is his master in this skill and he's weaker than Kisame for sure, as for Mifune... he may be better, but may not be.

Samurai train their whole lives to use swords, Sasuke defeating them without receiving a scratch is a great feat. He has also been acknowledged by Mifune.
Guys, stop listing fodder. And of course he defeated the samurai, he has much greater speed, strength, and agility then them. Not to mention the Sharingan which is like putting in cheat codes. But even with all of that he's just average at best when compared to the STRONGEST KENJUTSU USERS in the NV. I'm not saying he's not good, he's just not on the same caliber as them, despite waving around his fancy sword like he is.
How is Kakashi, Obito, Itachi, and Madara better than him. Obito has not used kenjutsu, unless the stick he used to kill Konan counts. Madara has barely used it and only used it on some fodders and Sasuke already defeated a whole of Orochimaru's fodders, blitzed the curse seal people. killed Danzo with it, stabbed Madara, blocked Mifune.
I don't think Itachi or Kakashi has feats above him.
Why would you expect Sasuke who studied justu under orochimaru for two years to be amazing at kenjustu. I assume he just learned how to use a sword without hurting himself.

your basis for concluding sasuke should be good with swords is nonsense-- however, he is still fairly good in kenjustu despite minimal tutulege.
Kenjutsu (剣術; Literally meaning "Sword Technique") pertains to techniques that entail the use of swords, whether the users be shinobi, or samurai. Kenjutsu can be used in combination with taijutsu, ninjutsu, chakra flow and even genjutsu in order to achieve more devastating techniques.
Kenjustu is not just swinging a sword around it is all sword based ninja techniques-- Sasuke has one of the strongest kenjustu techniques in the verse- so even if he doesnot use his sword that much in fights, saying others have better kenjustu them him is rediculous. Its like saying naruto is bad at futon just because he can only do a single one.

He put down yamato, defeated samurais who specialize in it, blocked mifunes attack earning praise from him which is a feat considering mifune is a specialist, he also forced madara back a little with it, fodderized about 1000 fodder tests subject for oro with it etc, he's proficient in it jus not on the same level with some1 like bee with is no shame at all.your attempts at downplaying his kenjutsu skills failed.
