Hagoromo's Brother was an Uzumaki. [Theory] by Everztar

First i'd like to say that this is just a theory of mine, that i came up with... so i'm not basing this on any facts what so ever. only logically thoughts that came to my mind while analyzing the manga.

Uzumaki Clan is the origin of Sealing Techniques.

and i believe that the Origin of Uzumaki Clan lies within Hagoromo's Brother.

let me tell you why, i'll explain!

The legends say that Dead Demon Consuming Seal is a Sealing Technique developed by the Uzumaki Clan.

It invokes the power of a spectral entity known as the Shinigami, the Death Reaper can only be seen when it grasps one's soul. Once called upon, the Shinigami hovers behind the user and wraps its left arm with prayer beads, uttering some unintelligible chanting, and after some time a cursed seal appears on its arm. The soul of the summoner is then partially separated from the body and restrained by the Shinigami's hair as it thrusts its arm into the user's chest to grab the soul of its target. At the user's command, the Shinigami then performs the sealing by dragging the target's soul into the user whose stomach is branded with the seal's mark. However, the sealing is double-edged as the user's soul is devoured by the Shinigami along with the target's, both souls trapped for all eternity within the fiend's stomach.

i'd also like to ask you to notice the resemblences between the Death Reaper God and Kaguya Otsutsuki:

however, here's the thing... i believe that when Hagoromo and his brother were fighting the juubi...
Hagoromo's brother sacrificed himself to his mother by using the (Dead Demon Consuming Seal)

why do i believe this? well simply because:

Hagoromo said so himself, they sealed the Juubi inside of THEM...
which means that his brother also got half of Juubi...
when i realized that Hagoromo said this...
i was thinking of exactly what Minato did in order to seal half the Kyuubi inside of Naruto?
and half of Kyuubi inside of himself... does it rings a bell?

Since Kurama's chakra was too immense to be sealed within an infant like Naruto, Minato first used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to separate and seal its Yin half within himself and then prepared the Eight Trigrams Seal to imprison the Yang half within Naruto.

facts: Eight Trigrams Seal is a jutsu derived by the Four Trigrams Seal based on the fūinjutsu of Uzushiogakure's Uzumaki clan. The sealing formula is used to seal any target into a human body or an object, and is mainly used when a giant enemy (Juubi) or evil spirit needs to be sealed away. To use it, it is necessary for the user to have great ability.

i think that Hagoromo's brother did the exact same thing in order to erase this monster from the world...
as well that he wanted to save the world of course. thus sacrificing himself for the future of humanity of NarutoVerse.

i'd also like to show you my Kaguya Decendant tree... in order to show you how i think it all went out... and why this theory could make sense...

EDIT** Apparently Viz translation said it was only sealed within Hagoromo...
and since i don't read the Viz version i did not know, sorry guys.
Viz translation isn't 100% accurate so i will leave this theory open for awhile...
however i still believe all of this, except for that Juubi was separated.

Yeah , it's very much possible .

and i do think that Uzumaki and Hyuga is descended from Hogoromo's brother too but then he become the one who had both Uzumaki and Hyuga powers making him the ancestor of Uzumaki's and he is not a Uzumaki himself .

it's possible that when they fought and defeat shinju , Hogoromo sealed one half in him and Hogoromo's brother sealed the other part in him and from what Sage told Naruto about power of his mother and what Madara trying to do . they might have separated the shinju in to two so one of them won't be able to have too much power .

and just like Hogoromo did separated the shinju in to nine parts giving birth to the tail beasts in his death bed , his brother might have sealed the his part of shinju using death demon seal for first time ( i think you did saw that tomei like 6 things around the dead demon ) and that's was passed down to uzumaki's , Minato and the third .
