about base naruto being kage level or s rank

Recently saw this question asked...if naruto in base is kage level . Some said yes becuz he took on kakuzu in base..while others said no becuz he had back up from yamato and shikaka..yes I call kakashi , shikaka...anyway. I gotta point something out.

Yamato stated that naruto hadn't finished the jutsu and he had leanred to use his clones more effectively. All naruto did was send two clones at kakusu. From that one scuffle naruto quickly calculated in his mind how many clones he would need...kakuzu's attack style and speed , and how to land the finishing blow. Within a few panels he threw kakuzu way off guard and almost solo'd him in about 2 pages.... But since frs was relatively new..he had no idea it would evaporate. Naruto would have done away with kakuzu easy . But didn't know his jutsu would collapse and was caught off guard and wide open afterwards. Base Naruto is vastly underrated .

Before u grab ur pitch forks ...I'm not saying he can defeat the five kage in base...but I do think he could put up a good scuffle against tsunade, mei and maybe gaara . All other hokages and raikages etc from the past beat him easily...but that doesn't mean he isn't kage level ...just low kage with no variety

I say this a lot. .WM is a supplementary tech like beast mimicry or lighting armor ..etc. its a technique like any other technique.

Yes, he obviously is. SM and BM only enhance his jutsu. He still uses the same kind jutsu in his base mode and is obviously incredibly dangerous.

It depends on how you define the word base..

so what you're saying literally means all uchihas are fodder without activating the sharingan??

Sage mode, KCM, BSM are all part of naruto's power arsenals just like the uchihas sharingan, Tsunades byakugou, Huygas Byakugan..

what do we define as base? for example is an uchiha's sharingan considered base? if so then the like of sage mode could be considered base, as both of these are technically augmentations to a person. although sharingan is a genetic trait it does have to be activated and sage mode is technically a technique, like lighning armor is technically a technique or gates. so wants we define what base is then we can make a good calculation. if you consider base to be naruto just with nothing that augments his strength or anything then this is harder to calculate as he never really fights this way anymore. the closest you could get to this in a recent setting would be right after the pain fight when naruto was in that scuffle with the cloud ninja. that little scuffle to me showed how naruto had grown all around and that he is extremely dangerous.
