Although we haven't seen anything revolutionary from Kakashi's 1000 jutsu, there's at least variety and unpredictability that comes with it. Really? I always thought that Dog Wall, Fireball and Water Dragon counted...It's safe to assume the 1000 jutsu are just basic jutsu of each element.

Not a lot for normal people but Shikamaru alone can think up 100 strategies in a few minutes. Also considering the familiar battleground i'm sure him and his father already have general strategies from prior knowledge. This if anything gives Kakashi a succinct disadvantage against the two.

And given that all the duo knows in this scenario is his general abilities no plan going to flat out defeat kakashi.

No, you misunderstand me. I am saying that he hasn't shown 1000 techniques. For all we know, they could be very basic techniques that he himself doesn't consider valuable in a fight, which is why this argument isn't valid for me. We can only count the ones he has shown, as I mentioned by stating about his skill set, which would be the known skill set.
