That's assuming that Lee's striking speed will be equal to that of Gai's in the same gate. They aren't equals physically, Gai's been proven to be superior time and time again. Saying that Lee can replicate Gai's feat due to both being able to enter the same gate isn't exactly a solid statement, especially when Lee had injured himself just entering the Sixth gate.
