Why not go a step up and pair Naruto with Karin. She resembles Kushina more than Sakura, has the same tempermant, is an Uzumaki and has chakra chains like other Uzumaki women. Also it's a great parallel from a marriage standpoint. Both Hashirama and Minato wed Uzumaki women. With Naruto being the reincarnation of Ashura, and by extension Hashirama. We have a match made in heaven. NaruKarin can work to restore the Uzumaki clan.
