Byakugan detection/sensing > sharingan precognition

Heavenly spin > katon and amaterasu

Air wall palm/gentle fist > susano'O

Closed eyes > normal genjutsu & tsykyomi.

Byakugan rapes 3t sharingan so badly. And it can survive against MS.

not every uchiha knew what izanagi was so you can't say they win because of that, also izanagi doesn't kill anyone it allows the user to treat reality as merely an illusion which means they could survive something fatal to live and fight again and it would probably catch shinobi off guard but cheating death and trying to catch a hyuuga off guard is meaningless because of the byakugan can see all and neji even emits a aura of chakra around him and his nigh 360 degree vision allows him to sense anything in the range of the aura and past it so izanagi won't even allow an uchiha to catch a hyuuga by surprise.



Also the whole strongest and second strongest was referenced during the time period before the village was created not after is was created and after the village was created the uchiha's only fame came from above average members like itachi and shi sui.

i think a ms user would beat a byakugan user simply because of susano. But any 3 tomoe gets beat almost low diff vs a byakugan user of the same level, simply because of the hyuuga taijutsu being better, being able to one hit kill, having superior hand speed and some of the greatest reflexes the manga has ever shown. The avergae 3 tomoe uchiha has precognition skills and katon jutsu.

To ensure fairness you would have to either pick times when both clans were at their best, include the whole clan and not a small outfit. Are we using multi generational? or strickly a certian (or random) time period.

I know a lot of people would start naming names, but I think once you betray your clan your DQ'ed. Which obviously hurts one side over the other, but you said clan not bloodline.

I would go with Hyuga, even the novices of the clan can still utilize Byakugan. Which makes everyone effective and not merely a few that have even awaken Sharingan.

it was never said that only a few awaken it, the clan was after all a renowned shinobi clan, and apart from that, how many of those Hyuuga would make a ninja of Sasuke's caliber? What >15 if not more
