I was just rereading the manga because I'm talking my sister into reading it and I noticed that Iruka is only about 24 years old. I always thought of him as someone around 30-40 years old so it kinda shocked me. In case anyone wants proof it says that the Kurama attacked Konoha 12 years before the beginning of the Manga and Iruka was in the academy at the time. 12 years later Naruto is in the academy so it is fair to assume Iruka was 12 at the attack and 12 years later he is 24 at the beginning of the manga and about 27 at the current point of the manga
