Ashura had reincarnated into Hashirama before, but Hashirama couldn't do that.

Naruto's ability to go sage mode has gotten better the time it takes is less than before and the amount he can gather is much more. while moving not sure yet but just stand still for about a minute or less is enough for him to go sage mode

Agreed with OP, Naruto probably can now absorb SM chakra the way Hashirama and Kabuto can. I suspect his sage mode is upgraded slightly as well. He might be able to heal people now, but hopefully Guy still dies...
