I'm not a fan but Minato is one of my favorites and i began to like Itachi a bit too .

I think Minato's stamina is much higher than Itachi's also known as the fastest Ninja to exist once and he fought a Strong Sharingan / Genjutsu user Obito ( who is capable of controlling Ninetails ) although he is not a tsukoyomi user on Itachi's level .

In Minato's time there Uchiha clan was active. I'm sure Minato partnered with many Uchiha on missions. He's not stupid to make an eye contact.

itachi knows about minato, but alive minato doesnt know who itachi is. in a hypothetical fight itachi takes this rather easily

itachi can also cast genjutsu from his body instead of eyes which is overkill

Same argument can be made for minato. How will itachi know about FTG and the marked Kunai's.

What if minato throws a kunai at his feet or behind him, without intel itachi gets blitzed.

Every top level ninja knows how to fight uchiha. And I love how people say genjutsu gg without intel, so is that the same for Hashirama, Nagato, Kabuto etc. do they all get genjutsu gg too by itachi? Because by that logic itachi is basically top 3.

You can't tell an uchiha(if you don't know them) until you see their sharingan. It's exactly how asuma, kurenai and kakashi knew it was itachi when he entered the village with kisame.

It is bad cuz he is saying Itachi knows about Minato and etc . A lot of ppl knew about Minato and still got owned by him no matter if they had info on him or not . Itachi was a kid when Minato died so he would know what he has heard for Minato that is why it is bad argument. I can easily just say that without info Itachi get blitzed with FTG + rasengan but ofc none will agree .

Someone made a worst opponents to not have intell on thread. Minato and Itachi's names came up a lot. I was looking for insight from fans of Minato on why they believe Minato was over Itachi. It's 4 am where I am if I wanted to rustle jimmies I would have waited till after noon

you're doing a very poor job of explaining yourself

if a fight there is no such thing as an "itachi without intel". itachi actually knows who minato is and the akatsuki has been fed intel on minatos abilities. these are manga facts (see chapter 552, 659)

minato died before knowing anything about itachi abilities so in a hypothetical fight an alive minato wont be aware of what itachi can do

People keep forgetting how freaking fast itachi himself is....even kakashis sharingan couldnt keep up with him. Hell not even sasuke saw him doing a kagebunshin during their shuriken exchange... itachi would beat him the moment they met....like he always did with pretty much everyone...

People became bias easily when it comes to versus battles. Itachi is a good character, but I'm sure that since Minato is a sensor, he do not need to look into Itachi eyes. Minato has been fighting nothing but Uchihas in this War Arc, and have yet to be caught in a Genjutsu. Most of these threads are just fan's fantasy to feel good about themselves, that their favorite character is better than anyone.
