Misconception: Madara is toying with Gai

I clearly say I'm going to explain why Madara is NOT toying with Gai and show why Madara is being serious, how do you not tell what I am trying to say.

madara in juubi form is weaker than sasuke so it so okay buddy.
juubi madara is also lacking susanoo and amaterasu, therefore he got his ass kicked, cause he got no defense on him anymore.
thats why hes a fail character. guy wouldnt even hold a candle against edo madara.

Of course Gai can't beat Edo Madara because Gai can't seal him, and when was it said that Madara has Amaterasu, plus Gai could dodge that and maybe break PS maybe so Gai>Madara (Not Juubi form) IMO Alright buddy ^_^

It was Madara's ignorance that almost got him killed , he got his ass kicked because he tried to played with him .

Madara has been so full of himself ever since he became a Jubi Jin.

Madara was too slow to evade the Night Moth/Gai he could only think thoughs, like how the move is bending space/air(accodring to another translation), he obviously does not show signs of playing with Gai like overconfidence. He expresses the opposite fear when Gai hits him.

My take on the whole scene, was yes, Madara did try against Gai. To say he was merely toying
with Gai is just bs. However, Madara was certainly got going full power against Gai, and
when he got serious, he even nearly killed Gai, if it wasn't for the intervention of others.
Madara was originally going like 60% at Gai, and by the time he went full out, his
balls were taken so he became a punching bag. So, Madara wasn't trying that hard
originally, but by the end, he took Gai as a serious threat, but couldn't stop the Night Gai.

He was smiling because he is happy he survived it and had a good fight that satisfiyed his lust for a strong opponent. Madara smiling still does not change the fact that Gai almost killed him.

^^^This. Madara tried playing with him when he was 7 gates. Once 8 gates, all madara could really do was think and try to block. just like garra did against lee.

And as we know, in this Manga, like in most, sweat drops of any kind show that the character is either tired, worried, or is stressed mentally or physically. You would think that Madara would be heaving and sweating if he was sturggling so much, but no. not at all. UNLIKE the battle he had with hashirama in the past.

Once again Madara said "you ALMOST KILLED ME" so yeah madara was having a tough time with Gai because if you reread it you see Madara getting his butt kicked and couching out blood in every chapter with Gai.
