Minato and guy both killed themselves to only slightly weaken madara... If anything, the guy's ****ing hype went up... I mean, he took a kick that was so fast that it distorted the air around guy, tanked multiple hits of evening elephant, and had to take on the might of 2 OP ST jutsus to weaker his arsenal... And, finally, it took a direct powerup from the sage himself to get naruto and sasuke even in the same universe as where this guy's power lies...

You just missed them. Minato still solos. He's never been hit by anyone who wasn't a god. He even teleport in front and away from 8th gate guy. His hype is so solid, he should be called Ghost. Because you'll never hit him U_U

Well, when Minato was alive, the best he could do was tie with Bee. He was about to kill Bee, but Bee was about to kill him with a kunai as well and had to point it out before Minato noticed. But other than that, he's fine. U_U

Do you agree that Gai V/S Madara fight has taken a huge toll on Madara's hype? Many people say now that they overestimated Madara previously. Do you think Madara still has his former reputation 100% intact?

The Gai fight didn't kill the hype for me. It was the bull shit with Obito. The ***** became the Sage and become less bad ass? How does that shit even work? Obito shouldn't even have been able to touch him. IDGAF what excuses or explanations ppl come up with. It's bull shit. It's as if one becomes underwhelming once they become the sage. WTF!?! I guess this was all for plot, but I can still complain.

You haven't seen anything, so his "hype" has yet to be measured. He sure increased Gai's hype by 100 fold by nearly tanking the 2 strongest taijutsu techniques the manga will ever see, so I think that says a lot. His character has become the step stool to Naruto and Sasuke's powerups, like others have said it's inevitable plot. In reality Madara could of just ran off and destroyed most of the world along with the alliance in a matter of minutes, Naruto has nothing to save then.

Edit: ^^ Same goes for Madara, as soon as he got the Jubi he became rather stupid. Unlike the shit he did while he was blind for awhile, and one eyed against tailed beasts, straight ruthless. Enough power will eventually make anyone careless.
