That Kaguya already thought of and implemented Mugen Tsukuyomi before anyone else...
It takes away from the... originality, I guess, of Madara and Obito. They're (or I should say just Madara now) attempting to create what Kaguya already did. They didn't think of master plan themselves, they just read about it and decided to give it a go. I feel it takes away from them (or him).
Does anyone else feel this way? Or am I being too nitpicky?

Maybe Madara believes it's justified because the most powerful human in the world also sought to do it.

it makes sense. I mean it shows where they got the idea from. It wouldnt make sense if they just thought of it out of nowhere and then put so much effort into it when they dont even know if it works or not, that would just make them idiots. It also explains how they know what kind of power they need and what steps to take rather than them just making it up as it goes.

It's not really that bad. Naruto and Sasuke are most likely going to implement world peace the way the Sage tried, so originality is running out on both sides of the party.

Kaguya didn't exactly enact Mugen Tsukuyomi, she forced her will on others because she had super powers. Madara is using same basic principle, use power to bend other's will, but he is implementing it via genjutsu.

General gist- old principle, new method of implementation.

I just figured they pieced together the information from the Uchiha Stone Tablet and other sources, that's all. I didn't know they literally got their master plan from someone else :/

Clearly their is more to the story that we don't know.

Assuming she did use it, all the Sage said was that she controlled others using the Sharingan on her forehead.

You might be being a little nitpicky but I can see where you're coming from. It takes away from the originality of the whole scheme instead of Madara being some type of mastermind who came up with his own methods of creating peace but now he seems like a copy cat. Still though, it's not that bad.

It does not matter. Madara is still just a villain to be beaten and that's it. It does not matter whether it was him who came up w/ the plan or not. He gave his reasons to execute all that stuff, and that is the only imporant thing about him for general plot. Imo you are being extremely nitpicky.

Now it just comes to who is more hax, to have the privilege of writing history.

Kaguya wasn't trying to place everyone under Eternal Tsukiyomi. At her level she could've easily done it, seeing how at that point she was one of the very few people to contain chakra, so nobody could've stopped her. Kaguya was trying to use her power to control everyone, which is similar to infinite Tsukiyomi.

Personally, I always thought someone tried to implement the Moon Eye Plan which would explain how Madara learned of it.
