Hooly #*$% did kishi copy Sauske's and Itachi's looks?

I was re-watching this other anime, Shaman King, when I realized something really weird. The main character of Shaman King, Yoh, greatly resembles Sauske, look

Also, Yoh's brother, resembles Itachi,

I dunno about you but I see great similarities. Not only this but the characters are also similar.
If you've never seen the show, lemme show you some of the similarities between the characters.

-Yoh's character traits are arguably the same as young Sauske, laid and carefree
-Yoh's brother, Hao, is the evil brother, just like Sauske's brother, Itachi, is the ''evil'' brother
-Just like when Sauske was the weaker brother when they faced(Itachi had MS) Yoh was the weaker brother when they faced.
-Hao was in an organization, just like Itachi
-Hao personallity is very similar to Itachi, extremely calm.
-Hao was also reincarnated, just like Itachi.


Is this just a coincidence? You tell me

Nope Naruto started serializing in 1997 while Shaman King started in 1998. So if anyone is doing copy-paste here it's Shaman King. Altough I doubt anyone is copying here because these 4 characters have completely different personalities and the only familiar thing is their hair styles.

sasuke and yoh are nothing alike yoh cares for his friends and doesn't have an evil bone in him and yoh is more laid back in a chilling sort of way sasuke is more keep you distance

also hao and itachi are nothing alike hao wants to kill all but shamans and even then you got to be on his side to live in his perfect world as for itachi he did what he did to prevent a coup and potentially the leafs destruction
