Is Kishimoto involved in Kakashi and Itachi filler arcs?

I really love this Itachi's filler arc and like Kakashi's one too to some extent.

These fillers also expanded upon chars like Hiruzen, Orochimaru and Danzo. Sadly there was hardly any Minato, he was just there in 2 episodes and dead.

The most important thing is....
these fillers made me loathe the a$$*ole, m0ther**cker and b!tch named Danzo even more!

It's hard for me to appreciate anything good (if any) that he had done. I hate him with a passion!

No,he just made the manga,he has nothing to do with the anime,except watching it.

he is involved in the anime but not regarding the story progression or plot. He probably is there to cut off or change some things that might affect the manga later on but not with the direct story.

For example, is the animators decide to give ibiki fire release for a filler episode, kishi would tell them to change this idea as it might affect the manga in the future.

It wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't involved, but it wouldn't surprise me either if they like, based them on a bunch of discarded ideas Kishi had lying around.

I have conflicting answers here, some say he is involved and some say he isn't at all.

He gave serious input,tbh,wrote the draft,on these so called fillers. Imo,they are canon if anything. You just don't deal with the char.s past without author's input.

If he was, the studio or Kishi himself would advertise his involvement. Just like they did for his involvement in Road to Ninja as well as the next upcoming movie. It's a huge thing that they would want to flaunt to grab more viewers. So basically no, he has no major involvement in the filler arc.

The studio probably does contact him for small bits of advice here and there, but that's about it. He's not listed in any of the episode credits so he's not writing scripts for them or anything like that.
