Was Shisui better than Itachi??

To me he sure looked like a superior of the two. His Shunshin was as said by his hype was awesome. Also his genjustsus were out of this world, even Itachi who's known as a great genjutsu user can't match it. Ao fled the battlefield when he saw it was Shisui!!

Itachi also said that Shisui was the main force from the Uchiha side, with him gone the Coup didn't seem like happening.

So was Shisui better than Itachi?

Agreed with this. He was very young at the time and even though he was very talented, he hadn't gotten to his full potential.

From his point of death itachi's been > him and going. Itachi's also exceptionally quick and good at genjutsu, so it's not like shishui is so special in any of that. More importantly itachi's the only known uchiha to even use shadow clones, which is a very useful jutsu in combat (see: any fight of naruto's).

But what I'm wondering is what shishui's right eyes power was.was kotoamatsuki both eyes?
Could shisui also have had susanoo?

Shisui was better than itachi before he died. However itachi is stronger than shisui before his own death. But who knows how strong shisui could have gotten had he not killed himself.

KA doesn't require direct eye contact but it's still an ocular genjutsu, you can't look at someone's feet with KA & expect to trap them in a genjutsu.

With that being said, the genjutsu rule still applies but rather than obstructing your own view you have to obstruct shisui's [which would be extremely easy considering his feats which are next to none].

It was better. Itachi looked up to him, but after Shisui died it's only right Itachi became a genjutsu god. Kishi has the younger characters surpass the older ones.

Shisui was stronger and it wasnt a big age differnce maybe a couple yrs and itachi was not 12 nor 13 in the last episode the one b4 that yes not this past one do he was old him and shisui both grew and shisui taught itachi so i know he was stronger and he had all the benefits of his ms why wouldnt he he had both eyes and he he had his ms itachi didnt until the monment shisui died is when itachi awoke his

Itachi has not displayed any feats to be able to move like Shisui.
And thanks to Raiga appearing in the manga, I say anime is canon to an extent.
Last episode is canon, they way Danzo surprise attacked Shisui makes sense about how he was able to steal it from him.
