just curious, when you say he launches Kirin with his ability to spam amaterasu, you mean he would be using amaterasu to heat up the atmosphere?

If that's what you mean, then doesn't Amaterasu have to be targeted at "something", not just air? I mean its not like the flames would disperse along the sky... Just saying theoretically if Amaterasu could "heat up" the air above the combatants, wouldn't its ability to devour anything mean that it could also devour the air after heating it up? And if it could do that then what's stopping it from devouring an infinite amount of air... (it's impossible/never happened in the manga)

Sorry I just nerded out. Point is based on what I just said I just dont think Sasuke can heat up the atmosphere with Amaterasu.

EMS Sasuke and Gaara's power gap is to much. Desert alone can't give Gaara the upperhand. If it was Gaara and Shukaku in the desert than Sasuke would've lost. But Gaara alone can't beat Sasuke.

Amaterasu arrow is useless against gaara's sand, because normal Amaterasu is faster and the sand allready countered it.
Gaara can pull sasuke out of his susanoo unless he uses his legged one.
Gaara can fly higher than sasuke can hit him with attacks that aren't amaterasu, and since Amaterasu cant get gaara, this is a stalemate .
Susanoo can break gaara's sand pyramid, but if he made it even bigger, it would eventually be too large to escape. That's what he did to the Trollkage.

right, right ok I'm convinced. Especially since he's able to spam Amaterasu, making a whole bunch of black flame around the battlefield would heat up the atmosphere. You always argue for Sasuke, but you do it well.

1. Amateratsu/Enton is not the only thing Sasuke can use. Choidori has already shown to pierce sand, a variant of it can be used allowing Sasuke to pierce the sand whilst being in a relatively safe position [
