(THEORETICALLY) is an Uchihaha able too unlock a new eye while in edo mode?

Like let's say if "Shushi came back with eyes" (for the sake of argument) if something traumatic happened; let's say if he saw a close friend like Itachi killed via Naruto's memories (or some such) would his eyes awaken ? Knowing well that there is a threat that still lurked on the battle field ?

PS. Doesn't *have* too be a "canon theory" But let's go with both options of canon and non-canon as a theoretical here.

Well Madara went all the way to his furthest doujutsu because he had it before he died. So if shisui was to be revived he can get his MS but to unlock his ems he would need to transplant another set of eyes right? With this I will say he would not be able to I guess.

I doubt it, since the eyes aren't real. When Madara turned human, his edo eyes disintegrated. Thats probably a good argument to say that since the eyes are augmented, and since when you're revived as an Edo Tensei you're revived in your prime (thus can't proceed past your prime) that an Edo Uchiha can't unlock new dojutsu.

Lets say Fugaku uchiha, sasukes and itachis dad, we did not know if he had MS and he is dead. If he was to see Itachi or Sasuke die while he is an edo tensei would he be able to unlock MS?


I would say maybe yes since they will feel the pain of loss and it can trigger the special chakra in their eyes. I think.

The sig is from the anime Rock Lee and his pals and I just screen shot the image and resized it. That is how it was shown in the anime.

I am not sure if their past will help the user unlock ms. But, since the chakra in their eyes is what unlocks it and the edos have chakra I think that it is possible but they will need to lose someone they really love right?

Assuming if he was reanimated he would have his eye's but for the sake of the thread I don't think it would be possible to do so since a reanimation is basically a copy of someone using the reanimations DNA and a living host.

So far it has been said that a edo, is revived with the abilities they had in their death. So basically they could not awaken or train a new power.

So it is unlikely that a uchiha who has sharingan, is edo, and sees their best friend get killed, would unlock a ms.


So in my opinion, No. they cannot unlock a new eye mode.
