According to Kishimoto, Itachi is a lot smarter than Shikamaru when it comes to battle strategies. He also said that Shikamaru is mainly and only good at strategies when it comes to squad fights.

There's no "current" Itachi, genius.
Also, Shisui didn't get defeated with "neg" difficulty; he didn't know anything about Danzo and basically got backstabbed by him (not even on his face).

Sushi thought he gg danzo, and got his eye stolen in less than 2 second. That's is a pretty lame defeat I would say, comparable to how madara solo sasuke with his sword.

No Itachi had the MS during the massacre, he was an ANBU then. The only difference is no Yata and Touska. Itachi wins.​

Danzo doesn't know how to fight. He stands no chance against Itachi who is primarily a strategist. Itachi starts with tsukoyomi and Danzo can't break it like Kakashi because he's not an uchiha

That is a lie. Danzo was being prudent, using only as much power as he needed so he could run a gauntlet.

Amaterasu is a fireball, it isn't instantaneous. If it were, MS Sasuke needing EMS to fight Naruto is pointless since MS Sasuke could one-shot current Naruto... that is not the case.
A Danzo that was older and slower, and lacked concern. He used Izanagi for defense, just as Itachi uses Susanoo for defense.
Only if Danzo stared directly into Itachi's eyes, which he will know not to do since he's an Uchiha.

In a one-on-one fight, one would hope Itachi could prevail by himself.

When did Danzo show fear of Tsukiyomi?

He was holding back yet using his most powerful techniques. Or you could use that as more proof that he underestimates his opponents severely like an idiot. Mastery isnt needed to use Amaterasu. You literally just look and shoot. Orochimaru wasn't dying at that point and was trying to take over Itachi's body. He didn't even show any signs of what he was planning to do besides his thoughts in his mind and still got owned before he knew it.

By "as much power" you mean all he had right? Because that is how it happened in the manga.

I never said it was instant. I said it was nigh instant as in very fast, as in too fast for danzo. Naruto is faster than Ay who is faster than Amaterasu. Danzo is nowhere near their tier of speed.

Prove Danzo was slower. He held his own with Sasuke for awhile who is pretty fast. Danzo wasted Inzangi as a defense. Sasuke literally through shuriken at him and made danzo use it to avoid death. Sasuke's shuriken jutsu isn't on Itachi's level btw.

Danzo doesnt have to stare in Itachi's eyes for him to use Amaterasu.

In a one-on-one fight one would know that Itachi could prevail by himself.
