Anyway, regarding Amaterasu, Gai could use Asakujaku to block Sasuke's LoS as soon as he sees his eye start to bleed. Although I do believe he'd be able to dodge Amaterasu anyway but 6G doesn't have many feats. Regarding Susanoo, he just waits Sasuke out. He'd have to keep his Susanoo up otherwise he'd fall to an Asakujaku blitz.

Probably mid at best though since Gai isn't dodging Amaterasu in the 6th Gate, which I just remembered. Mastered MS Sasuke wins low-mid.

The air and pressure that arise with 6th and 7th gate makes Ama' 100% useless since it cannot touch Guy thanks to the constant flow. The fact water (which is much more dense/heavy) couldn't touch him is proof enough Ama would get blown away from his body. Now whether Guy could win that's a different subject. But Ama wouldn't be his down fall IMO.

He did react to Jubidara's black balls and save kakashi at literally the last second. It looked like he was at 5 gates or below, I couldn't really tell since 6 gates makes him look different.

I don't think he was using gates..there's some random aura he usually has around him but I doubt it's the gates..it has been shown twice
