Naruto ruined Gai's death

One of the craziest things I've seen going on lately. Some people actually believe Gai should have died instantly right there. That it would somehow give him an honorable death. You people don't even know why Gai used the 8 gates in the first place do you? It wasn't to fight Madara in a honorable 1v1 death battle. It was to protect his comrades and kill Madara. Gai's last attack failed to kill Madara, meaning he failed to protect them. If he would have died then he would have died thinking he let everyone down. Not a very heroic death to me. And in fact, we don't even know if the technique Naruto used prolonged his life or fully healed him yet.




Tl:dr = Nardo solos the grim reaper.

same reason why naruto would/should have died.. because the manga stated it to be "An absolute rule/truth"; just like in the case of activating the 8th gate of DEATH.

It was the perfect moment for him to die imo.

He beat Madara when no one else could, and he had already had his flashbacks and talked to his friends. They had the utmost respect for the decision and had accepted it.

Naruto ruined that death imo.

BTW, he did protect them because now the main characters are there.
