[Question] Why didn't the Revolutionary Army support the Whitebeard pirates?

why wouldn't Dragon go with Sabo and some other strong revolutionaries and go save Ace? Sabo must've wanted to save Ace, so why weren't they there? What were they doing? xD any ideas?

Whatever happened in Marine Ford wouldnt have affected World Peace, and it will only harm the Pirates or Marines, so Dragon stayed out.

And it isnt that just cuz Sabu had his two "brothers" their, doesnt mean Dragon will listen to him, he is got a whole world to set free.

My guess is that they had to have been busy with something else or had something planned and thought the marines fending off the whitebeard pirates would be the perfect time to do it. They also might have thought that the whitebeard pirates would have been able to get Ace easy enough by themselves.

Sabo obviously wanted to go we gather from his conversation with Koala but couldn't for some reason.
Kinda useless making this thread now, nobody can up with a good answer or even theory for that question at this point in the manga.

i mean, the war was broadcasted over the whole world and dragon knew luffy was there and he clearly said "luffy is a grown man", he didn't do anything...

Dragon or the Revs coming to the war complicates stuff. Marines finding out ties between Dragon's Son who's also a worst generation rookie, Roger's Son who's also one of WB's top commanders and Rev Army's Second in command would have motivated them even more to exterminate all three of them then and there. Besides Sabo must have important work to do. Revs second in command butting in such a war would cause even more uproar and political unrest.

I know, but why did Luffy need to be there for Sabo to go? If he wanted too... I think it's because the Revolutionaries have put too much effort into there plans to lose members at the battle.
