Would have been much better for the story. Team 7 thought they killed off Haku and then BAM, turns out he survived and now just rams everyone in the ass. Haku is also a better character than Obito, been through more crap, but isn't a wuss about it. Obito waisted a good 35 chapters with his whining. Plus, obito was so freaking predictable.

I highly disagree. The way Haku went out made him into what he is to the fans of Naruto. The first villain that showed us that it could be a kid. It showed us that Naruto and Sasuke weren't the only kids suffering in the ninja world. The dying speech he made, the way he still protected Zabuza.. And when Zabuza was edo, what he had to say just was awesome.
