I agree, if he got it over with everyone would move on eventually. Unfortunately the latter pairing who lost might wanna drop the series (because you know there are actually people who read this shonen manga solely for pairing purposes, which is dumb i might add)

To be honest though, I always saw Naruto and Sakura as having more of a brother/sister relationship, due to the fact that they both want to reach Sasuke. In fact, I'd say most of their development comes from Sasuke acting as a catalyst, instead of it being on their own.

IMO she slapped him in the face and then gave some inspirational speech. I think it's safe to say that she's developed as a human. Um, she realized that already. Her number one goal for 'happiness' was her father's acknowledgement.
