I couldn't accept what I see. A Juubi Jin Madara getting owned like that. Now that's like showing that 8 Gates power is stronger than the Juubi itself is it? It's like the 8 Gates power can defeat Hagoromo is it? The 8 Gates power seems like a huge asspull.

Even 7 Gates power didn't kill Kisame! But 8 Gates Gai could harm a Juubi Jinchuuriki like that? Very close to death? And it's not just some weakling Juubi Jin, it's Madara!

I could somehow accept that if Kishimoto deliberately wanted Gai and his 8 Gates to shine. But still, I saw Madara just sitting there like doing nothing to counter. Come on, I'm really freaking disappointed on how Kishimoto portrayed Madara now.

Before becoming a Juubi Jin, he owned the 5 Kages. He killed hundreds or thousands with meteors. He fodderized Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, Naruto and Sasuke. Now, he isn't what he used to be.

And remember, a Juubi Jin is supposed to be able to fly very fast.

At least Madara should have kept himself high in the air, and fly around to avoid the attacks.

I'm really disappointed to see this fight. It doesn't make sense at all.

But the attack did literally nothing as he healed near instantly from it, and Madara wasn't even trying, he was testing the waters, and most likely subconsciously waiting for Gai's time to run out, so that Gai dies,without being able to do anything worthwhile for the Shinobi Alliance...

The whole 8 Gate just supports and appreciates how much damage Madara can tank, but in some sense I do agree that it kinda makes gai OPed.

Also

1 eye Rinnegan is pretty useless as you do not have any visual Jutsu. This was proven when we saw that obito just had the eye for safe keeping, and never actually was capable of using its powers.
