Summoning in NOT ninjutsu!

Summoning just like the rasengan is a ninjutsu.

I never said it was solely based on hand seals, I said hand seals aren't required for summoning.

Summoning is blood contract, something completely different. We've seen Kabuto summon Manda for Orochimaru. Explain that? All he did was use his blood

Summoning is a ninjutsu. Gai can also break genjutsu(manga fact) so his chakra control is pretty solid.

It also said "via blood" not the use of molding chakra

Further down it states molding to strengthen the summoned animal. But we know Orochimaru didn't mold chakra via hand signs to summon gates and Gate hasn't shown hand seals neither

Summoning jutsu is ninjutsu, specifically space time jutsu. It's using chakra and seals (Fuinjutsu) , To bring something to you.
Saying it isn't is like saying the flying thunder god jutsu isn't ninjutsu either. When the databook specifically said the mechanics of FTG are basically almos the reverse of the summoning jutsu. I.e teleporting yourself to the seal...

Chakra is molded . To summon something you need to spend chakra. The larger the object the more chakra needed. Everytime Naruto summons gamabunta, a chunk of chakra is taken

I understand that, but isn't molding chakra performing hand seals? Without that (hand seals) you're simply focusing your chakra in your hands or not at all. Similarly to focusing your chakra to your feet

Handseals are there for a number of reasons including aiding in molding chakra, using less chakra and counts as a recipe for certain jutsu. High level ninja normally do not require using many handseals , which is why Tobirama was able to use the Water Dragon jutsu which normally requires 40+ handseals with just 1.

But a hand seal was needed, which is my point. Could he have done with without hand seals? Without hand seals, is chakra simply being channeled, which isn't the same as molding chakra/performing ninjutsu. Again, Orochimaru wasn't able or at least wasn't shown molding chakra. Same goes for Gai.
