Might guy is stronger than a (near full powered) rinnegan user when using eight gates.

Madara could not stop this attack, forget Shinra Tensei this is the hardest kick ever seen in naruto.
The look on his face is priceless.

Might guy can already kick through susanoo (madara's greatest defence) as seen in previous chapters

Without 8th gate was already top 10-12 material, going all out he would've whooped madara even before he could use perfect susanoo due to speed. Also susanoo stops ninjutsu not taijutsu.

He also doesn't need to look uchiha users in the eye as seen in part 1.

I think guy is defs top 5 and would own just about any user who doesn't have a fast counter jutsu (FTG, Kamui etc)

Gai was saved 3 times in his fight with madara. Also Gai can't touch Rinne Obito because of kamui. Nagato can sync with the gedo use the souls snatching dragon thing.



As far as the whole watching feat thing, thats wrong and a failed tactic simply because prior to seeing itachi and kisame, gai had only used that tactic on kakashi who is not a uchiha and is not good at genjutsu and at the time kakashi was better than gai so that feet watching tactic must did not work if kakashi was ahead on the scoreboard.


Gai didnt kick through susano and that was a complete susano, not final or perfect susano which is very different as we know, and from what we saw it knock the susano back and then exploded we don't know what it did to the susano because the next time we saw madara he was sitting down waiting on hashirama to get there.


Also if you are talking about a fight between all previous carnations of madara vs the 7th gate gai then every madara wins....


Edo Madara vs 7th gate gai.....edo madara wins gai cant do shit to perfect susano also i highly doubt 7th gate has enough destructive force to destroy meteors.

Alive Sm Madara vs 7th gate gai.....sm madara wins, last i checked sm has the greatest reflexes and 7th gate gai's actual movements were shown when he charged at madara which means his 7th gate speed wasnt even on par the the raikage and ftg was dodged by sm madara.

7th Gate gai would only beat kisame out of the top 15 and only because his fighting style is meant to beat kisame's and it would go down to there last jutsu like it did with kisame's failing because of gai tech is taijutsu. the rest would beat 7th gate gai

I do agree that Gai has incredible power, but I doubt he could defeat a fully trained Rinnegan user such as Hagoromo or Madara. Also, there are some faults in this thread. For starters, Gai cannot kick through and destroy the Susano'o without using a Jutsu. ( Such as the Midday Tiger. ) Also, Madara didn't use ANY jutsus on Gai as far as we know, so I will say this. I doubt Gai could defeat Madara's Perfect Susano'o while Meteors where falling at him while Madara attacked him with Shinra Tensei and other Rinnegan abilites along while he attacked Gai with the black matter.

Naruto could possibly save Guy; but i think that would be an insult this amazing technique. But the power output is defiantly strong as its a focused on one point, not an entire location. Madara would be dead if not for Hashi's DNA

Gai is beast. To the people saying Madara was just standing there. He protected himself when Gai went for the final hit and said if Gai hits 4-5 times it'll be bad. Night Gai was so fast it bended his staff.

Yeah, Gai is more powerful than him, for like 30 seconds. Then he dies. If the Rinnegan user survives that period, he wins.

If the rinnegan user is using something like the 6-paths technique, and the real body isn't even on the battlefield, Gai dies and nothing happens.

Rinnegan more powerfull due to SOP Madara didn't use Rinnegan technic at all to counter Gai attack, he look more on play around with Gai before God Tree complete & blossom... SOP Madara just took the hit for him to test Gai power limit.. that all..

He signs his death certificate by using 8th gate, so I'd hope he'd get pretty strong from using that technique. I don't really find the technique all that impressive to be honest, other characters in Naruto have stronger/better powers and abilities without having to sacrifice themselves. All in all, guy is a shitter noob who needs power in the form of self sacrifice to contend with the best of the best in Naruto.
