Hagoromo Otsutsuki's father?

To be perfectly honest! I do not believe that the Shinju/Juubi is Hagoromo's father.

In truth, I like this theory better:

It just seems more possible with Kaguya meeting a young man and having two children with him. (Although I would have to disagree with the part about Kaguya being a fallen angel from another dimension.).

On top of that, I actually find that theory to be a lot better. What if Kaguya tricked her lover into eating part of the fruit? O_O

Does anyone think that Hagoromo's father will ever be revealed? Maybe Naruto and Sasuke will meet Kaguya and she will tell her the full story? What do you all think?

Theory is purely conjecture. The greatest implication is Banbutsu Sōzō, following a similar if not identical principle to Hagoromo's: ​

It's really quite simple. The Uzumaki were the original shamanistic tenants of The God Tree.

Kaguya happened to become quite smitten with one of them and here comes baby Hagoromo.

The God Tree was tended on the island of Uzu by the old Uzumaki shamans. This is where Kaguya went to seek the fruit, (from either 'the moon/stars' or from Mount Fuji). The Uzumaki would have largely dealt with natural chakra using ritualistic methods - objects, drawings, chants, and dances. Perhaps they had a natural affinity for chakra as a sort of reward for tending the God Tree.

After consuming the fruit and obtaining the powers of the Juubi's eye (The Sharingan) - her child was born with the Rinnegan. The Sharingan is the hereditary influence of the Juubi. The Senju also inherited the 'body' of the Juubi - hence the affinity for Wood Style.

If Kaguya is shown to come from the stars - she will likely be a bit more imperialistic in her methods. She has come to bestow peace and tranquility upon the humans who are seen as somewhat immature by comparison to her own people. It would be that fundamental arrogance that dooms her to her fate.

I imagine the Uzmaki she falls for will be of a slightly different mentality. He will express the need for peace, but oppose the use of force (an ideology likely upheld by Kaguya's people - who would later become the Hyuuga... or perhaps the Hyuuga became involved after Kaguya had met her fate), being a somewhat more passive character.

Though it is also possible that the God Tree still took its vengeance upon the Uzumaki, just as it seemed to do the Hyuuga:

It's hard to say exactly how all of that played out without more information to go on.

All I have to say is that all of the other villages are delightfully irrelevant, it would seem. The Hidden Leaf is just one giant God Tree reunion.

Under this model - the Uzumaki would still be a distant relative of the Senju - since the Uzumaki would be their grandparents.

Although there is also the question of the wife of Hagoromo (or whomever birthed the Sage's sons). There are a couple loose ends to all of the speculation that I can't nail down. Whoever Kaguya's husband (or impregnator) was, there is likely a mythological/historical/legendary reference that Kishimoto will use - and with enough time spend pouring over stuff, I could probably "call it" down to the name... but I don't quite have the time, and it's quite possible that it would take weeks of research and it be revealed in the next issue.

I'm sure Kishi will reveal who Hagoromo's father was sooner or later.

Who knows? Maybe it was actually Hagoromo's father who started the curse of hatred instead of Kaguya. Maybe Hagoromo's brother got his ideologies from his father and same goes with Indra! That would be awesome!

So what you're saying is that Kaguya abandoned her children after she gave birth to them? I doubt that.
