Nagato was able to use all paths bro. He reflected his rinnegan upon those bodies because he couldn't physically move. But Nagato is able to use all of them, go back and read the manga where he fights Naruto, Bee and Itachi.

This^ In that very fight Naruto also commented that all six paths are stronger when used by the original and not separated into the other six bodies. Edo Nagato's six paths > Six paths of Pain so to speak.
You can use all six paths in one body, for that is how the original rinnegan was suppose to be used.
Example: Edo Nagato, Obito, Madara.
The six path bodies (pain rikudou) was created by Nagato himself, due to 0% mobility at the time.
Example: pain
Madara an Obito have been heavily dependant on the outer path and sometimes absorption technique.
Occasionally they use something else like Madara: Limbo Hengoku and Obito: Himan path.
Example: Edo Nagato, Obito, Madara.
