I dunno..sure he could mix chakra. But Sage Chakra enhances does who utilises it in all aspects , threat perception , power, ninjutsu , taijutsu and genjutsu.

He just got a new powerup for his Bijuu mode in the battle with the Jubbi's Jinchuriki , which in Manga time , did not pass a day
He used it during invasion of pain which was at least a month before due to and konoha rebuilding, armies mobilising and the summit happening, and the war as being going on for 3 days now. wasn't exactly a new powerup, Kurama explained he was the one that didn't want Naruto to use the Toad power since he had his.

Born as genius doesn't mean every power received is non-hard work. Everyone with Sharingan, Mokuton, Rinnegan, Bijuu etc, still had to train hardly in order to get more powerful with their power. It doesn't happen on its own.

Actually, i forgot all about tha.O_O however .that case was kinda of different in my opinion since naruto was totally unconsious of it and so learned nothing from it in my opinon.

I guess it would be unfair to call it an asspull powerup since it existed many chapters ago i guess. I retract my statement about it being asspull

I agree with everything except Sharingan , Rinnegan and Bijuu

Sharingan=

-Awakening-near death experience
-2-3 tomoe- overall power as a ninja grows , however you do not train it specifically
-Mangyekyo- Death of someone dear to awaken. Powers grows much greater with Hatred
-Eternal Mangyekyo Sharingan- Swapp eyes, tadah

Sharingan is basically a ad-hoc power based on your experiences. You don't need to train hard for the sharingan power. , you just had to meet certain criteria

Rinnegan=

What hard work do you need to do? You just needs to " Test your limits and break through" (Frozen quote lol)

Bijuu=

Level 1 = A bit of chakra ( Okay , this takes a bit of hard work )
Level 2= Maintaining sanity in face of tails sprouting ( Okay , this needs work too)
Level 3= Pull chakra out of Bijuu and take it's power. ( Okay , this needs effort)
Level 4= Work together with Bijuu to sync power or ask it to give you power. no strings attached ( No effort required )

One can simply jump to level 4 with no effort at all if one has the right character and mindset

Firstly, how good is your mother at carpentry? You receive half your Genetic code from each parent, for all we know your lack of carpentry skill could come form the absence of the genetic material that associates with Carpentry (by that, not nearly the same number of genetic material associating with things that help carpentry).

Its still smacking hard work in the face. Some of the top tiers worked hard sure, but at the end of the day, they get bolstered by a series of hand me outs. Sure some level off effort before was made to get the hand out, but the scale of increase in regards to that work is ludicrous. Since you used him, lets' go with Naruto.

Uzumaki Naruto

1. Parents death leaves a HUGE pool of chakra. Giving him 100 times the chakra as Kakashi..... as if his genetic 10 times wasn't enough.

2. Defeats Kurama in a mind battle (which constitutes clashes of will), and suddenly has access to power that puts him in competition with the 5 Kage meaning he could fight all of them at once and not instantly get smashed.

3. Becomes Kurama's friends, and his KCM suddenly expands to firing Perfect Bijuudama only a few minutes after unlocking it.

4. The Tailed beasts supposedly don't have power by tail.... but Kurama could suddenly solo them all together. From having previously been fighting evenly/getting wrecked... Quite the change.

5. Talks to the Sage... gets a power up.

However, ignoring some of the moments that feel a little more like quick roads to powering up..... He's the Child of Prophecy destined to change the world.

That alone questions any credibility to the hard work done above. It was his destiny to get this strong and do this. It was his destiny to defeat Neji... because his duty is to end up saving the world. Look at Star Wars.

A. Skywalker: Prophet child to end the sith. By the end of the 6th movie/book he does just that. Of course no one predicts that he also kills most Jedi, and becomes a sith himself, but in the end he becomes a good guy and kills Palpatine (for a time anyhow #Cloning).

No different from Naruto in that regard. It was his destiny to amass this power.... because the purpose it has is to shape the world.

Let's look at say Hinata. She works hard as evident in Kurenai's flashback. She'd train hard, but always end up failing missions. Come the end of part I she's looking positive and thinking she'll really gets stronger. Come Part II, and she couldn't even use 64 palms until the War Arc.... So much for her hard work paying off.

Let's look at Lee. How much did he improve over the time skip: he was able to open one more gate. Sure he had a slight handicap due to his injuries, but I mean he was doing quite well considering his efforts against Kimmimaru.

I mean, the level of progress made by other characters who work hard hardly compares to the likes of Madara or Hashirama who were inherent Genetic Time Bombs.

I mean look at Gai.... his decades of training and he achieves the 8th Gate, and is still not going to be able to legitimately kill or truly severely injure Madara who's power came from the Juubi.

Look at Kaguya. Ate a fruit and is supposedly the strongest in the Narutoverse.

There are just a lot of aspects that went to discredit the hard work characters have put in.

Gai and Lee are fine examples of hard work paying off. Take a look at Might gai, He's giving Juubi Jin Madara a run for his money, that is quite a feat in itself.

Give Madara a Run for his money? I think not actually. Madara has not even popped out Susanno yet.

Also, let see who is in worse condition? madara or Gai? Definitely Gai.

Madara is just going to just stand up after this , let his regeneration kick in and be back in shape after Gai burns into oblivion

... and naruto and sasuke will come surpass him after 1 hand-me-out.

a few months of hand-out powerups > Gai's 20-some years of hard work.

So outside of the recent Ashura/Inra reveal. When exactly did Kishi try to shove this 'Hard work theme' down our throats? For me, I only saw that theme coming from Lee and Guy and too Me.... Naruto only portrayed that a 'loser' wouldn't always be a loser...basically, 'people change' was the theme i got from Naruto vs Neji. As a matter of fact i remember Naruto out right saying he didn't know anything about fate or whatever( neither confirming or denying Neji's views)

beyond this Kakashi hinted that opening gates might not even have anything to do with hardwork, so for all we know it might be a genetic ability.

basically, hardwork can defeat a genius belongs to only guy,Lee...even from the indra/Ashura fight the hardworker didn't curb-stomp the genius just tied...even back in Wave Kakashi whipped out Sharingan and owned zabuza...then the Genius Haku analyzed the sharingan and came up with the strategy to beat it. Then Lee was crushed by Gaara...this theme didn't appear in Sasuke retrieval arc(only thing i could get from it was 'Sacrifice must be made for power)ect...

so what i'm saying is aren't fans just getting mad over their own interpretations which are not necessarily what the author was thinking.

Yea, ikr. It's sad really.

Madara is not trying but hes still getting wrecked. Once madara decides to end gai, he will, but for now, he wants to "dance" with gai.
