People seem to think so due to that page. However, that isn't the case :/ That was simply colorful dialogue to make Obito seem more threatening/villainous/whatever you want to call it.
Tsukuyomi, a rare MS ability, is the only Genjutsu with life threatening effects. And Obito's normal Sharingan Genjutsu is on that level? If so, why didn't he use it more often? Such as against Minato? Or Kakashi? Or Guy? Obito had already stabbed Konan with a metal pipe and strangled her all while she was out of Chakra. Of course she was going to die after Obito got what he wanted.
It was just dialogue, not literal.

Not 'even Kurenai'. Actually, she's the only one with such feat. Obito had stabbed Konan with some rod before he choked her and put under his Genjutsu. She was dead anyway.

But she was nowhere near Itachi. After he reversed her Genjutsu, he had to run to her to kick her. It proves that she wasn't near him when she tried to stab him in her Genjutsu world, yet she still said 'this is the end'.
