Hm, what everyone else said I guess. I end up meeting cops that seem nicer usually. But when I was in middle school my circle of friends was multiracial and there were a few instances with the police that I felt there was a lot of unnecessary antagonism.

Come to the third world country where cops works only for rich and politicians and they dont know shit about human rights and they will do anything they want with you unless you are famous or influential person.they dont randomly ask IDs though..but those ****s dont work at all.Nobody wants to invlolve them in anything.It usually takes to hear abuse and humiliation just to talk with them sometimes has to pay bribe just to file a complaint.Police brutality is a big issue in my country and government is in no mood to fix it. most of them are fat and carry sticks only thing they have is that they are police and people are afraid of them.No wonder terrorists with automatic rifles cause mayhem..

Do you know what I mean by minority? I mean "the state or period of being under the age of full legal responsibility." So when I say minority blacks. I don't mean all black people I'm talking about a specific group of them. Young black males. And sometimes you don't have to do anything for them to bother you. I'm the type of dude who watches anime, plays videos games, and read books man. And you would never catch me sagging my pants. The worst thing I do is smoke weed which isn't that serious at all. I was literally just standing there on a public block when a cop told me to move. I had every right to be there but I moved anyways then another cop came and asked me for my ID and didn't even tell me why he wanted and and went in my pockets. I get what you're saying about the distance part though but there have been times where cops plant things on people and beat them for no reason. Did you see the video the other user posted on here?

Well it seems like you only care to mention the bad and not the good, but I guess it's not uncommon to do that. People tend to only remember the bad and not the good. Let me show you a video of a cop doing good and doing what he's suppose to do.

Cops for the most part are doing the right thing. Yes, you will always find a video of them doing something they are not suppose to be doing, but that doesn't they are all corrupt. As I said before, people tend to remember the bad rather than the good. You won't see many videos on the news about cops helping other people, rather you will see coverage of them only doing something terrible which tends to make society think badly of them. You can easily relate this to Naruto. The Uchia weren't bad people, but because they were in charge of police force, people were afraid of them.

I've met the corrupt cops & the nice cops , both of course have worked out for me , but what Fidds said is true , they abuse of power & how mighty they feel as of late that they can shoot whoever they want & get a slap on the hand for the mistake is sickening , but people are getting tired of this shit & sooner rather than later a cop is gonna get their ass kick for trying to be smart . I've been around a lot and noticed cops can be different depending on where you are (generally). In some places, cops only worked for higher ups and for people who can bribe them. In others, there is arrogance like majority here said. Where I am now, they are actually pretty decent. They're strict when they need to, but are silent and/or patient for the most part, even when dealing with 'frustrating' individuals.

My uncle was a police officer and I always wanted to be like him. I even wanted to go to study in Police Academy but my uncle said to me that I would make the biggest mistake in my life if I do that.

It's not that he hated his job, but he said to me that sooner or later I'd be in conflict with other people and sometimes I'd end up hating myself for doing this or that and sometimes I'd end up being hated by someone and he didn't wanted life like that for me.

My uncle died on duty while trying to stop illegal transport of heroin across the border. He wasn't killed or anything but he had a heart attack while chasing these people. He had serious heart problems but he always wanted to carry out his duty as a police officer.

So I do respect him and his sense of justice and I will always respect people like him but I am well aware that not all police officers are like that.

I may not have ever been harassed by a cop, but that doesn't make my opinion any less valid. I have a few few friends that are cops as well (my neighbor, two of my coaches, and my co-worker who is in training). I am not saying all cops are good though; but for the most part, cops are doing what is right. Yes you will have officials bribe cops to do something, but those ten cops who are bribed shouldn't speak for the other 100 who are in the same area.
