I'm guessing naruto will save Guy from the side effects of the death gate. he used kurama before to make him recover, and without even wanting it he saved shikamaru (wha was as good as dead) also with that chakra. now he has even more knowledge from the So6P so it's reasonable he might be able to save him.
also the timing of his recovery is just perfect, to arrive on the battlefield and save the day as a true hero (remember naruto's speach to inari during their mission to the land of the waves way at the start of the manga?)
