Agreed. Gai did well, but I wanna see Naruto and his new powers and how he and Sasuke will defeat Madara. I'd even like to check in with Hiruzen and the Alliance over Gai tbh.

Actually that would be great.

Gai's death would have more meaning if he would be the one who kills Madara.
Naruto and Sasuke could still shine against an even stronger enemy, the real/unleashed/whatever Juubi.
