I agree with you. I can't stand people who blatantly hate fillers or non-cannon material. I personally love filler but it has to be good, a lot of the Naruto fillers (excluding the great Kakashi arc) have been pretty bad. It needs more DBZ Garlic Jr. style filler, less adventures at sea and so on (though some of them were funny).

as another member said, most of the people who read the Manga and watch the Anime watch it for the fights (movements/soundtracks/different experience).

and some fillers simply suck/offer mini dull stories/not so appealing to many of the series's fans (no real effort put in them).

90% of the fillers in almost every series suck so ................................. you liking them/thinking their worth while doesn't mean that others should :yeah:

I'm kind of interested this Kakashi/Itachi Anbu arc so i am watching. Lets be honest some fillers are great but most crap. Loved the Guren arc as well.

I disagree. I'm pretty sure it's all relevant. Even if it isn't spot on, which it probably is, it's still an amazing story.

I use to only watch the anime, then i learnt of the manga... I still watched anime up to like shippuuden 30, but anime became boring IMO and the manga was quicker to go through. Now, I only ever watch anime for cannon episodes I want to see animated (ex. madara vs SA). Everything else is boring IMO, especially the fillers. U_U

The worst anime filler ever was probably the raiga shit. Then of course raiga pops up in the manga. It's pretty obvious we don't have a full metal alchemist screenwriter gone wild situation here. I believe kkishimoto is providing the info guidelines for anime and the filler is legit storyline. Nothing suggests otherwise for this series.

This current arc about kakashi, Yamato, itachi anbu days is brilliant.

It even explained why itachi was cautious about fighting Gai with kisame and how impressed he was watching guy blow through an elite ninja squad with only taijutsu

I must be an idiot and a douchebag then,because I can't stand fillers or the naruto anime in general. The animation is terrible. The animaters are lazy at best. This is just my opinion though. I know plenty of people who enjoy it. You shouldn't make threads with the purpouse of forcing your opinions on others. Kinda makes you sound like the hitler of nb.
