The Hunt for Pandora's Box [RP]

Sasuri: Alright now that the entraces have been sealed off it will be difficult for reinforcements to enter. We arent out of the woods. I called for heavy Observer reinforcements, and I also instructed them to bring in an experimental weapon I have been working on, but until then we hold this position.

*Jumps out into view and begins to attack*

1st wave of observer reinforcements arriving in 4 posts

Horde: Zenthian

Through the city a rumble runs, stirring the dormant Scythians. each members wakes and instantly joins minds with the other. images of the exits being blocked flash through, as well as images from another horde seeing a group of invaders. Food. the thought resonates, bringing the Zenithian horde into a frenzy. they all turn towards the indicated war party, and begin sprinting there; they didnt enter the city from the entrances, so why should they leave using them? in a wave of bodies, the Scythians leap over the city walls, blocking out the sun overhead. Food. All must die.

as the horde charges through the undergrowth, they come into a clearing and come to find the source of the smell: a war party of observers. the smell of life is over bearing and it causes the hungry Scythians to charge at the Observers in a wave, fanning out in an impromptu blitz formation. Food. All must die.

Status: Hungry and Frenzied

*Tsi makes his way back to Sasuri and arrives with him. He grabs hold of his chain.*

We should be meeting up with the other branch of the clan soon. It is just a shame they have to live so deep in the snow.

Sasuri: Hmph they're like mindless beasts. Very well, lets hold this position. *taps into his power and releases a omnidirectional surge of null and then creates a null field covering many meters of they're current viscintiy. He then takes out his chakrams and imbues them with null energy as well.

(I did a time skip here for the sake of moving things along.)

The titanic battle between Ryth and Frankie had essentially leveled off nearly all of Tera. The two combatants lay in a large crater at the city's center, each one of them looking completely broken to the point of no return.

Ryth was the first to awaken. He coughed, nearly choking on his blood, as he looked up to the sky, Observer cities in their magnificence floating above... he reached his hand upward, shaking, and weak, as if trying to grasp what he had lost.

"I can't believe it... beaten by a mere human. I have disgraced my ancestors..." His raised hand clenched into a fist. In his rarest expression of emotion yet, his eyes began to water.

Frankie, face down at the bottom of the crater, looked up, his head struggling to look at his opponent. His body was broken as he responded. His hand could no longer hold on to his trademark weapon; an emblazoned, ornate, pistol.

"Looks like this is where things end for us, huh?" Despite having thoroughly enjoyed the fight and still having that maniacal gleam in his eyes, Frankie talked to Ryth in such a way, as if they were old friends.

Ryth smirked wryly. "... a well fought battle. For a human." His other hand let go of his sword, which lay in the ground beside him.

"So many unanswered questions... looks like we won't see them to the end." Frankie laughed painfully.

"... I tire of conflict. But I do not regret fighting for what I believed in." Ryth said simply.

"What do you believe in, then? The Great Seals? Pandora's Box? God?"

The two combatants lay across from each other, as a deafening silence reverberated through the city.

Before either of them could speak again, they had passed from this world. ​

Lucifer rides back to Neo York as he see's the incoming troops he stops and watches the situation.

Status: HUNGRY!!!

The Horde charges straight through the null field, not even flinching. The observer dna they had consumed has built up an immunity to null, though only slightly, it still enough to allow them to shrug off barriers, especially if so many hit it at the same time. The Horde then begins to shred through the Observer war party, swarming the observers with sheer mass and numbers.

Nui touches one of the bars to the cage, and nullifies it.

"No, no, no. If this church is burning, it's burning. Thank you, but I'll be leaving now."

She continues to stroll out, this time gripping her scissor blade tightly, ready to strike at a moments notice, the smallest twitch.
