Sasuke is not going to battle Naruto

I don't believe Naruto and Sasuke will fight. The whole point of this conversation with the sage of six paths is to convince them to end this

cycle of hatred between the brothers which has carried on throughout the generations via their spirits. If they do fight i doubt one of them

will kill each other because that would mean indra or ashura's spirit would just go to somebody else in the future. Something is going to

happen where these spirits are finally going to be at peace and stop the cycle of hatred. Whether the spirits unite as one in naruto, or they

leave the bodies and unite or they live in peace separately, or just finally disappearing these are the only ways i see it happening.

Where did you get that he confirmed that. He may have hinted at that possibility but the point of this story is to break that cycle. Months ago I made a thread just like this with even less info and I still believed this fight would never happen. This conversation with Hagoromo just strengthens my idea.

Where did you get that he confirmed that. He may have hinted at that possibility but the point of this story is to break that cycle. In one interview they asked what was going to be the final battle and he down right said Naruto vs Sasuke :|

we all know kishi could change his decision. not to say he constantly has to come up with advancing plots, his story therefore can change easily if something start to effect him or his thoughts. thats why sticking to the same idea when writing story or making a movie can just become a cut out part of filler.

I wouldn't mind a tournament, but after receiving a power up from Rikudou and defeating Madara I believe everyone will be okay with it being decided between Naruto and Sasuke.
