The resemblance is too uncanny - the forehead dots and ceremonial braids that resemble the Sage's; plus the Kaguya clan is literally named after her. I originally thought they came from the Younger son - as they were stated to have strong physical bodies.

It's also strange that her son also has a clan named after him - also odd that they're allied with the Uchiha.

We also know the G/S brothers' came from the Sage's lineage, but their physical appearance resembles Kaguya more.

I've also always had the belief Jugo's clan is related to the Sage - as if the fact their natural ability is to absorb sage chakra wasn't enough, you need only look at the effects the curse mark has on it's subjects - specifically the horns.

I have no real proof for Suigetsu being related to the Ototsuki - other than the 2nd Mizukage having the Yin release Kekkei Genkai. But I believe that based on Kabuto's statements regarding what Orochimaru studied, as well as his statement on being closer to the sage than anyone else because he absorbed all that DNA suggests that they are related.

Personally I believe every Kekkei Genkai holder comes from the Ototsuki out of pure logic - how can a person have a bloodline limit if they never had Chakra to begin with? But I have no proof for this.

The clans that I think are confirmed are:

The Senju.
The Uchiha.
The Hyuuga.
The Uzumaki.
The Kaguya.
The Hagoromo (possibly. The clan may have been founded out of respect.)
The G/S brothers' clan.
Jugo's clan.
The Hozuki.

I believe the Hyuuga's came from the sage's brother tho..... I mean he had only the rinnengan (as much as we know now) and his son, Indra, had sharingan. This really makes me believe that Hagoromo's brother had the byakugan.

This sounds about right. There are other clans like those that can fuse elements that make new elements that should be included as well (like Haku's).

Technically, even her two sons inherited part of her power. Which means that power came from her either way(if you don't cound the Juubi)


I personally believe she acquired all bloodline limits from the fruit(Juubi). As the generations passed, that power divided amongst her descendants and different clans with different bloodline limits were created. I guess those who had similar powers came together to form their own family.

It's just an idea too though since there's not much information just yet.

That's my logic behind it. There's no logical reason for normal people to have Kekkei Genkai.
