So in the new chapter the sage reveals that Hashirama and Madara knew that they were Ashura and Indra's reincarnation respectively, the sage says that Naruto SUMMONED Sage's spirit so by looking at it from a perspective it means that only those with Ashura's chakra are able to summon the Sage's spirit, Hashirama knew that if he was to give Sasuke his Chakra(Ashura) the sage will meet him, so he knew everything from the beginning.

Nope, it makes more sense regarding the whole story, if Hashirama and Madara doesn't know how to summon Hagoromo. Sasuke met him, because he's Indras reincarnation.

Well,I can't agree with you because if Hashirama knew that only Ashura's chakra could summon Hagoromo then why he was pretty clueless about Kaguya and the Shinju's intention to retake back what was stolen from him once?
As far as I know Hashirama said that his chakra would serve to use a jutsu against Madara's SM,that we know Madara stole from Hashirama himself.

I think that Hagoromo himself decided to talk to Sasuke too to create a balance between his two sons:he understood that he couldn't just give everything to Ashura again and he decided to give a chance to Indra too.

i think hashirama met the sage at some point but the sage didnt explain in depth like with naruto i think thats why hashirama was surprised when madara was telling him and he asked how he knew about that...
