Not just that but the phyical energy and body of the sage. As well as ingenuity for creating techniques.
Senju created techniques like Flying Thunder God, Edo Tensei, Shadow clones, Chakra enhance strength, and their kekkei genkai is mokuton. So they have a lot going for them.

Of course the genius abilities of the Uchiha, the sharingan, mangekyou sharingan and fire style jutsus; give them a lot of credence as well.
