One thing about Kaguya's forehead

I have been wondering why there's a vertical mark on kaguya's forehead since her appearance in 670

. I once speculated that it could be a slit , which seems to have increased its likelihood in 671 :

. the 9t eye seemed to appear after kaguya had eaten the juubi fruit , as the slit on her forehead opened

However , she wasn't supposed to eat the fruit and have that eye was she ? what was the 'slit' meant for then ? could she have gained the slit only after eating the fruit ?

but she did obtain the third eye , which was exactly at the position of that 'line'
tho i wouldnt dismiss the possibility of it being mere coincidence
