The 70 meter rule, he cant control them beyond 70 meter

minato teleported 5 of them with him, while teh rest were used to form a protective orb, kakashi used kamui which probably took some of them and then gai punched madara a long distance away from the orb

Look when he is jump 70 away than Madara lose the controll of Onmyoton, so maybe he can regenerate like Hiruzen cuz he is a Edo ! it is possible that Minato is alive...until now Minato he is not dead
