If Madara met a 13 yearold Itachi

We just saw that Madara, while impressed with Sasuke's power and eyes, didn't see him as anything to be fawned over. If Madara had met Itachi, I feel the encounter would have been far different. Madara would have said, "This person.. he possesses a power not seen since my era. I must recruit him at all costs."

note this is a young Itachi right before slaughtering the Uchiha's (His potential at that age was something else)
